tatsunoko-vs-capcom-one-two-wii-fight

When it comes to fighting games, Capcom is probably the best at producing some of the best games around. Therefore, it’s no surprise that we could all expect this new game is going to be another awesome fighter game that will rule the Wii Console for the next few months. If you ask me, I’d say that putting famous Capcom characters together against characters from a Japanese animation company called Tatsunoko is truly an odd mix. However, after checking out the game, I’d say that this is actually a really good game to play and here is what makes Tatsunoko vs Capcom so good:

Hot Characters

This game has a large variety of characters; you would think that Capcom might have pitched together a team of characters from their most famous games like Street Fighter and Dark Stalkers. This is clearly not the case as you will see characters such as Soki from Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams and Zero from Mega Man X. There is truly a lot of different flavours in terms of the characters that are available for you to choose. One might ask at this point what the characters are from the Tatsunoko side. Well, have you ever heard of Yatterman and Gatchaman? Older generations who are into Japanese anime would have heard these names over and over. However, these names are still a blur to come people’s minds. But don’t worry, even if you have never heard of these characters before, their fighting styles are very unique with special attacks that are comparable to another other fighting games. I feel that it is truly awesome that there are a new variety of characters this time around, rather then the same old Marvel vs Capcom. (any many other similar variations)

Awesome graphics/audio with Pleasant Overall Presentation

The game simply looks fantastic. Character models are done superbly and you can tell the editors spent a lot of time polishing out every detail as the models are very well polished. Background environments are very dynamic, if you pay close attention, that there is a lot of “interesting” things happening. For example, in the food court stage, zombies suddenly come out and take over in the background. Simple dynamic environments like these really add a lot to the game and this makes the game so much more interesting and fun. Audio is also crisp and clear, and uses both Japanese and English dialogue.

Play Online and fight with others across the world

Experienced gamers who are into fighting games truly know that even the computer AI is too weak and that one must search for other human players in order to find a real challenge. Tatsunoko VS Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars makes this really easy by including an online mode where players can easily find someone to fight against. The speed of the game is also very good and did not have any lag.

You don’t have to use the Wii controller

Trying to play this game with the Wii controller is very hard. However, the good news is that you are not stuck with it. Players are free to use the gamecube controller which makes unleashing combos and attacks so much more easier. This is generally the controller used by many fighting game lovers.

In general, besides having awesome game play with very good graphics, the ending of each character was also very impressive. You get to unlock artworks as well as other characters. Due to the large number of characters that you can choose from, it certainly becomes difficult to master everyone of them. Even some of the more experienced players will find that the game is a bit hard to handle at first. Therefore, pulling off simply attacks and topping them with combos is definitely the way to go.
